  • AATV off road class

i know there's different atv classes but the trail i was on today i wasn't sure if my argo is class 1 or class 2, it's maked for both on the sign, and it's a really nice atv trail that goes into 2 lakes. just digging for info, still new to the sport

My guess is the class has to do with weight or size of machine. Google it, im sure it will say.

In Pa ATV Class 1 is for under 50" wide and under 1000 lbs. ATV Class 2 is for over 50 " or over 1000 lbs

          Minnesota:

Class 1 ATV's are motorized flotation-tired vehicles with at least three but no more than six low pressure tires that have an engine displacement of less than 800 cubic centimeters and total dry weight of less than 900 pounds.

Class 2 ATV's are motorized flotation-tired vehicles with at least three but no more than six low pressure tires that have an engine displacement of less than 800 cubic centimeters and total dry weight of 900 to 1,500 pounds.
