Courtney, I would use some Armor-All type product on your machine after you wash it. Also, park it in a garage or barn if you have the space available to keep the HDPE plastic from being exposed to the sun and becoming brittle and fadded. Other than that just enjoy your new machine!

Ditto on the Armor-All type product and shelter from the UV rays. Suggest you don't Armor-All the floor boards just before you go riding unless you have shoe grippers in place otherwise the floor becomes very slippery

Wd40 is a petrolem based product and would eventually make your body brittle,Armor-All would be a much better choice.
          Enjoy your ride.

I've heard the same about Armor All... Apparently it has alcohol in it which dries the plastic. I've stayed away from Armor All for years because of this.
Maybe a topic for Mythbusters!? LOL...

For my Argo, I just waxed it. I like the semi-gloss look.

If your going to display your vehical Armor all or wd40 are great to make it shine as long as you do it daily. It's better to just use a light soup and water and then dry it completly. keep the vehical in cover or covered away from the sun.

I tend to keep my Argo covered in a light coat of mud on top and a heavier coat on the bottom. Although the older stuff go to bed towel dried after a nice bath.
