Centralized grease distribution block

Has anyone put on a grease distribution block. I am thinking about putting on in a Max II since a couple of the inside axle bearings are hard to get to. I was thinking of getting a six fitting unit and mounting it under the seat. That way to grease the inner bearings I could just lift the seat and grease from that spot.

Mechanics call them grease buddy's! They tend to fail. I was thinking about doing one on mine, but reconsidered aftethinking it over. I have had tons of trouble with the spring loaded ones that continuously grease. What happens on the average, the grease that sits in the lines gets dry & hard, and you end up getting only a few points greased. If you use the older block style, it has generally the same problem. The other thing is that the grease points farthest away from the block don't get proper grease, due to the fact that there's more grease to push a farther distance.

The best thing I can come up with is to just remove the grease fittings from the bearings, and put a line & fitting a few inches away, in a better location!
Hope that detur's a few people from adding those things. They rarely work correctly for long, or at all.

Sorry for the long explination, but I have a love hate kinda thing going with grease buddy's. I love the idea, but hate the results!
