  • Tight Trail clip, Bent tree hazards

So, I found an old "Hand Slashed" trail, probably from back when this area was being surveyed for Gas exploration. I managed to wiggle my way through it and found myself out on another well used trail. (Well, I didn't FIND it, someone else did and I found their tracks through it)
Rumbling through here got me thinking, so here is a question for you guys with Adair Tracks. Have any of you speared any good sized trees through a track, and if so, what was the outcome? I'm thinking maybe a 3-4" diameter trunk wedged between the track grousers. Reason I ask is becouse several of the trees through here were pushed over, and the way I went through I was leading straight into the tops, and pushing some of them back over the other way.

First, when you have adair tracks, you'll be running over bent trees pointing at you a lot, because your the one who blazed the trail going the other way in the first place. If anything got stuck up in the grousers that the power of the engine couldn't break, you would feel it and have to just back back out. Then get a running start and hit it harder, because you wont break these tracks.
