Better Swimming???

Just thinking out loud as I've never had a machine in the water (too many cracks)... I don't know if this is even possible w/o major fab/mods but would one of these machines swim better if there was some way to 'shut off' one or more axels??? Maybe the middle one so there is not as much turbulance? Again just thinking out loud. Currently my attex has a broken hub on one side so it is a 5 wheeler. That is what got me thinking about this. I don't know, just something to think about - conversation starter...

Cant say for sure gearhead what i do know is my Avenger picked up speed on wheels alone when I went too dual wheels,that said we usually use a outboard but just saying.NCT
