What to buy?

I am new to the site and to the aatv's. Have always wanted one since I was a kid watching the hanna barbera show where they were riding them. Does anyone rememeber the name of that show? Anyway I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on which one to buy. I have been wondering about a coot. Are parts hard to come by. How are they on the water compared to a six wheeler. I am looking for something in the 3000$ or less range. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Did you want a Coot or a Hoot? The Coot is a 4x4 unless I am mistaken.
It is difficult to find an AATV for $3000 that is in good working order but not impossible. Try to stay with the Common names Like Max and Argo that are still made today for part availability although with some creativity and a good industrial supplier you can fix any brand.

Have you tried a classified site called kijiji.com(U.S.A.) and kijiji.ca (Canada)

thanks for the reply to my post on where to look for a atv. i'v been wondering what the name of that tv show is for a long time. im not real great on the computer bu seem to be getting by. All of the amphibious ones look like alot of fun.

Oh and I forgot to mention, take a look on Classifieds - Motorcycles, ATV, Snowmobiles, autos, boats I have seen some 6 wheelers on there every now and then as well.
