Super Swamp Fox with 26" terra tires is FAST in the water, they sit high or float high and move faster then anything I have seen if they have a good engine.
Argo Frontiers with the 24" Swimmer tires are FAST in the water.
MaxIV with 26 inch terras are Fast.
Any Argo 8x8 with the 25"swimer tires is Fast! (I have seen Lewis's HDI at busco and it is Fast!)
Brandon posted a video of a MAXII with 24" Argo tires and it was fast in the water!
Philipatmaxfour's Yellow Argo Avenger with 4 RawhideIII's and four Terra's on the back is Fast!

There are videos of most of these machines posted on the forum or on You Tube so you can compare but I am pretty sure that a well set up swamp Fox is the fastest machine made.
Here is a video of Rusty's old swamp fox with a 16 horse engine at river run, imagine what this machine would do with a 27 horse engine.

One thing to consider about the video that MightymaxIV posted is that Rusty had a very tired 16 hp motor that needed rings, and had 50 pounds of chains sitting in the rear of the machine to make the front end tilt up more , making it easier to move through deep mud.

Wow, that Super Swamp Fox really moves! Now I really can't wait to get mine done with the 23HP Kohler Command and see what it'll do.

I don,t know if this is the same forum member that you're talking about , but Bigbirds Yellow Argo 8x8 is REALLY FAST in the water with him standing up and leaning forward over the hood.

Yep, Bigbird be him, Mudbug3. Wish I knew how to find one of his videos that he's posted. It's tricked out nice for water.

Update he has bought a max 2 has 21" rawhides under it. Mine is the same exact machine same tires and moves pretty good in the water. If we decide to change tires to help get it out of the water more what's the biggest size we can go to?

Swimming as fast as this? Max II with 24" Tires Video by Brandon - Myspace Video

The factory will tell you 22" max size....but.....23 are an odd size, 24" fit with heating the tub and clearancing......small 25's may work too, the MaxII axles are exactly 25" center to center, so true 25's will rub/touch at speed. (secret project in the works) hint hint

Hi Bridget, I appreciate the kind words from a woman who flies across the Arizona Desert in a Spingered Max. Here is the video that I think you and mudbug are talking about. It was taken at Olean, New York and I didn't know how to get my new ARGO out of the water, obviously. Warren

I think Mighty Max likes this one better playing in the ice flows:

These were all great examples of some really fast swimmers. & such diverse machines. There are so many that swim really good. These guys know how to get them to swim even more better.

Hey, Warren (Big Bird) watching your video at Olean reminded me of this one. I still think your the fastest on water.
