I'm there for you, Marc. It takes one to know one, and I think you and I are about in the same boat. I have about as many projects as I do runners.

    ST/503/R
    Superchief D/Stock
    Chief D/Stock
    Attex Combat Vehicle Simulator (8x8)
    Hustler 980
    RIM
    Attex Chief
    Super Swamp Fox (project)
    Camel Centipede (project)
    Max 8x8 (project)
I have enough Attex parts laying around (Superchief body, a couple Chief bodies) to make the better part of three more machines, but in the interest of perpetuating denial, I count those as spare parts, not projects.

I search classifieds daily. I scan the backsides of houses, shops, garages where-ever I go. I hound friends and acquaintanaces about potential projects on a weekly (some daily) basis. There are others that have MANY more machines than I do, but nobody's ever proud that they smoke more crack than the next guy. I have a real, genuine problem, and a very understanding significant other and family.

My name is Mike, and I live for this crap

EDIT:: I actually forgot Big 5.....

I figure I should jump in behind Hydromike so we can both blame this obsession/addiction on bad, (or odd, at least) genes.

I guess the current count is 14:
        9 Attex
        2 Hustler
        1 RIM
        1 Super Swamp Fox
        1 Starcraft

About half of these are runners and half projects, and this doesn't include the Tricart and Tricub- not amphibs
It makes me sound a lot less nuts if you split the machines up with Bud and Q as well. See, I'm no addict!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

        (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

For all those out there with more then 3 machines have a question for you all....Do you use your machines for commerical purposes or are they all for personnel use??????

I think is is bad enough to maintain just 2 machines....14 vehicles with a min of 6 tires each is a s**t load of tires....
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

I've got to be the only active member on this forum that has never had, or driven, an aatv! I saw a max II add in the back of a magazine when I was young and instantly fell in love with the idea. I "lurked" on this forum for a few years before joining a few years back. I read the forum nearly daily and feed my addiction by watching all the youtube video's you all post. If all falls into place I'm hoping to have my first aatv by the end of this year!

So the current count is 153 based on the poll. The top 3 are Don with 14, and then Jpswift and Jerseybigfoot are tied for either second or third because I can't decide wether Hydromike has 10 or 13...

Mine are just toys. I enjoy rebuilding them about as much as I enjoy driving them. Every winter, at least one gets a full teardown/ major overhaul of some operating system. for example, I'm about to start my 3rd splined axle upgrade of the winter... Last year the racer got totally redone, I rebuilt the Hustler from the ground up, and the max got a large HP injection. The Tank trainer was a spring/ summer project. Next winter my wifes max will get a frame out teardown, clean inspect repair and repaint on the frame plus upgrades to inner bearings and splined axles. Holding out hope that I will find a Tomcat or at least a Camel between now and then for the summer project...

My son tried to count all the tires on our property a few weeks ago, but he only knows how to count to 100... he probably came up 60ish short...
