    Hey guys dont know much bout these machines so tell me the basics when buying 6 and 8 wheelers. first whats better 6 or 8? what make is reliable?

    first mod, buy a winch, it dont matter what you buy, 6 or 8 wheeler, your going to get it stuck. If you want dependable, relable, and bullet proof, get an 8 wheeler with adair tracks and fuel injection, with as few hours on it as you can afford, aka, a 2012 mudd ox, hydrottrax or agro would be best! but get what you can afford! good luck!

      If its something small, like a early Attex for instance, you can just pick it up and move it. I have never had it stuck where I need assistance from another machine to get it out. My Attex 8x8 though, its a tank.

      Best thing is find some local members and ride with different machines and see what you like. 6x6 are generally more nimble. 8x8 have more carrying capacity. Neither is better then the other. Both have goods and bads.

        just my opinion you live in New York and Max is made in Buffalo N.Y. and very popular easy to get parts (IF needed) argo is also very popular these seem to be the most 2 popular machines out there argo engine in front max engine in rear I have a maxll and very happy with it , like spookum says buy what you can afford but do your home first work ask questions lost of good knowledge on this site and there is no stupid question good luck

          ok, that gives me ideas. do i need tracks for snow or do they run fine without them in snow? might know of an atv in town thats been sitting for awhile maybe he'll sell and then i got another project on top of my truck.

              ill be going in rivers and the lake near by, through mud, dirt, snow any thing that the elements have maybe fish otta it or duck hunt. drive to my hunting locations. tow a trailer for wood and moving things from a to b on my property. definatley during winter go on snow rides to my buddies houses
