The flip side of the coin , is that you won,t be able to get the weight of a hydraulic amphib around 1,200 pounds. The heavier an amphib is the less capable it is when driving through soft mud. With the heavier frame needed to run hydraulics , you then need to run tracks in soft mud to lower your psi on the ground or you'll get stuck. Been there and done that too.
