  • Video of the Mud pit Creek Bottom ATV Park Doles Georgia

Hey everyone- For Anyone who thinks that your or my AATV cannot take on the Suicide run in Louisiana, please check out this video. You'll see my Max Come in to the Mud pit at Creek Side-Now this mud pit is only for the Biggest, baddest most well set up of the machines. Others don't Dare!!!! The two quads in front of me were a Brute Force with 29 1/2 inch OutLaws, and just in front of me a 700 Grizz with a 6" Lift and 32" Gorilla tires with two inch lugs- You notice they both had to be winched out. I did require a little help though-check it out!

    MAX MUD pOWER

it Took These Well Set Up Quads Up To 1/2 Hour To Get Through These Mud Pits. It Took Me About Three Minutes. As You Can See From The Video Most Of My Time Was Spent Waiting On The Quad In Front To Move Out Of The Way!!

Lees Argo Frontier in the Mud Pit at Creek Side

This is Lees Argo Frontier Equipped with 25" Mud Bugs Going through the MUd Pit at Creek Side. Lee and I didn't make to many friends with the guys that had the high dollar Quads- You'll notice in the Video that because of Ground clearance Lee is able to pull right out of the pit! MY MAX WOULD HIGH CENTER ON THE RUTS REQUIRING ME TO LEAN LEFT OR RIGHT ON A MUD HOLE THAT HE WOULD WALK RIGHT OUT OF. LEE DID THIS IN SEVERAL TIMES AND SEVERAL PLACES ON OUR TRAIL RIDES!

After awhile I got tried of following quads around so I struck off on my own and went through the swamp-look at this last mud hole here this is serious business that would have stuck most of the big quads

Video of Lee's Argo and Dan's MaxIV in the Swamp

One last video of my trip to Creek bottom. This is Lee with mudbug equipped Argo Frontier. Lee walked all over me in the deep clay mud and had to pull me up several holes where the Max nose hit the bank or high centered because of ground clearance. His frontier has a better attack angle and better ground clearance something I have have been saying is a max short coming for awhile. Having a lower gear to drop to in deep mud was also an advantage for him in the clay type gumbo mud that sticks to your tires. In the swamp my Vampires/Swamp Foxes were a lot faster. The Frontier is a beautiful machine and we had a lot of fun doing what the quads just couldn't do.

Great videos as usual Dan. I combined them all in one thread to keep things neat.

Good stuff! Funny you were riding the guys bumper in the pit, but be thankful he didn't wick the throttle and give you a shower Good to see the frontiers wheel wells filled out.

I talked to Mudbug last night till 4 AM, he filled me in on your conversations, wheel spacers, psi, etc. Sure is nice to let some air out, isn't it.

Roger. The ride is about 60% better at 2 psi, I could just haul a_ _ down the trail and ride was incredably good! I still have a problem with inside tire clearance and will probably have to go to a 1" wheel spacer. There were three or four times that I could have used the ground clearnace provided by 3 1/2 psi but you can't have it all!

                      Dan ,

This is the video I,ve been waiting to see . I,ve talked to Lee several times on the phone , but this is the first time I,ve seen Lee,s Argo Frontier , with the Mud Bug tires . I,ve seen an Argo Frontier in the camo colour , and it is one beautiful machine . Thats a fact jack ! If I had an Argo frontier , I,d equip mine like Dan or Lee has , with very aggressive , atv mud tires , that swim like this .

After watching all the video,s you posted of you and Lee , it looks like you both had a great time . I,m also sure you,ve both been bitten by the 6x6 and 8x8 , riding bug . Its a lot more fun when you have other amphibs with you . I loved the video of you and Lee exploring the swamp trail .

Roger I was watching those big tires like crazy!!The mud was so bad that it stuck to the tires and even when they revved it they would not sling mud. Revving the motor just dug these guys in deeper and made it worse. When my wife saw the video she responded like a woman- Well if these guys know they're going to have such a hard time in the mud pit why do they go into it???!!!!Of course she also corrected my spelling and english! Some things you just cannot explain!

                            Dan ,

After watching that video of you in your Max IV , and Lee in his Argo frontier , I thought to myself ,, now thats my kind of amphib riding . First on land,,then through mud and water,,and then back into the deeper swamp water , to start all over again . Whats really good though , is that this place is so close to Lee,s house . High Lifter is now close to opening a 580 acrea ATV park , thats only about 40 miles from my house . But,, five other great ATV parks are all with in 75 -135 miles from my house also . These parks are any where to 3,000 - 5,000 acreas of trees , mud ,and low lands , that hold lots of water when it rains . Can you say amphib country .

That first video was great. The only assistance you needed was someone to step on the machine and it climbed right out. You didn't even get your feet dirty
