LMAO, RD all the great outdoor activity an ya don know what a trot line is, stop foolin around. But then I wouldn't know how to act if a BEAR invaded my fishing hole, so now you can LYAO
Anyhow, a limb line is a baited line tied to a limb that overhangs a hole of water where one suspects a monster catfish would likely happen upon it. A trotline is a line with many drops, each having a hook attached (to raise the odds of the aforementioned monster catfish chomping down a nice pointy sharp hook) and usually stretched across a hole (I like bends in large creeks) or submerged point at a predetermined depth all baited with the setters favorite bait. MMMM FRIED CATFISH! nothing better. Heck man I even mix my own fry blend... You know I don't even know if you have catfish up your way, I never hear anyone talk of it...

Kadoo, I hadn't thought of trying that, don't see why it wouldn't work great, especially if you are planning to run creeks. I don't think I would venture too far into the nearby reservoir though, them bass hunters would run ya over quick, fast, and in a hurry. But I have every intention of using the trackster in pursuit of another favorite... can you say BULLFRAWGS! hoooEEE!!! bust out tha cocktail sawce!

            Ah, ok I see.
If you had just said "Set Line and Long Line", I would have had you figured out

Different names for stuff I have had a lot of fun doing in the past. Not so much anymore though, both are illegal here now

Catfishing would be awesome, never tried it before, and I bet you would love to try Burbot, as Spookum mentioned. Fantastic stuff, but hardto catch here where we are not permitted to use bait.

I would take my Argo out to try any of it, any time though.

            Cool

Burbot, is that some kind of fish that drinks too much whiskey? Sounds like a great time, maybe if I hit them numbers tonight I can get up y'alls way and do some of that. Have to get the machine up and going first though. Would love to get to see Alaska, and what better way than to have a local guide!!! I guess I need to start saving an "Alaska or BUST fund" and get up there before I kick tha bucket some day. Definitely would be a great trip...

ILLEGAL! that just sucks. So maybe if I hit them numbers we can get you guys down this way (with your machines)and let you get caught up on set and long lining! Sorry I didn't catch back with you on this but it seems as though it got buried... Wish me luck...
