Yep, there's the answer to your problem right there, Fred. I'm sorry to hear you were a victim of Richard Clark. That happened to many other folks out there too. I know that AmphibiousDrew got an axle from Clark for his Attex and it broke completely off after just a few hours of light use. This is typical of Richard Clark and the inferior quality products that he sells at ridiculously high prices. Spread the word, and tell anyone and everyone in the 6x6 hobby to avoid him at all costs.

What he said. I believe Richards axles are just cold rolled steel. He may have even downgraded to a wooden rod spray painted silver. I couldn't tell you as I wouldn't buy from him again.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Yup! They reside in the front end of the D/stock racer. They haven't bent yet, but it only gets 10-15 laps at Ashtabula a year (including light practice) before I perform the annual JLO meltdown. How about some pistons made out of 300m?

I wouldn't put it past him to do something like that. And he would only use only the lowest quality stuff out there.........the cheap Wal-Mart silver spray paint. Then jack the price way up and tack on ridiculously high shipping and handling charges. Yea, he's in the business to promote the 6x6 hobby, not make a killing on parts (insert sarcasm here).

It is a machine shop/amphibious speed shop member whipper owns. He makes quality parts such as splinned axles and Springer kits. He is a good guy and great asset to our community.
