New to the Huslter 6x6

I recently purchased an older 6x6 hustler for my son. He is a paraplegic, has use of his hands so I thought this would be good to keep him in the outdoors.

Unfortunatley on our first run, we had a gas leak that went unnoticed, a backfire throught the carb later and we have a lot of burnt wires and half a melted upper tub.

Luckily, nobody was injured, other than pride.

My question is, is there anything on the units that would tell me the mfg date. I have looked but cant seem to find anything.

That's a very good question. I really don't know for sure where Hustler marked the year of the machine, but if you tell us what engine is in it, and look up the serial numbers, it'll give you a general idea of the year.

Sorry to hear about the situation with the fire. Good thing everyone is OK and the machine is still drivable.
