Hey guys I was thinking about installing a 23 HP vanguard v-twin in my 900hk hustler. Does anyone have a picture of this setup? I'm not sure which muffler setup to order?

    Thanks

There are a few members that have successfully completed this conversion such as, JPSWIFT, RACERONE3, DAN67 and myself. Here is a pic of mine,, 16 hp Vanguard v-twin - Amphibious ATV Pictures . I suggest you take a look at the others as well.

There is no exhaust that you can buy and bolt on for the Briggs to Hustler conversion. A custom exhaust will have to be made.

You can reuse the factory motor plate. The bolt holes will be different so you will need to mock up placement for the clutch offset and raise the motor at least 1" for clutch clearance to the motor plate. There is a pick in my gallery that shows clutch offset.

Thanks guys, I read Dan67's thread about his hustler rebuild. Tried looking through the galleries, I found a few pictures here and there. Looks totally doable. I guess it's time to drop the dime and order the motor. I already have a set of whipper's splined axles to install, new chain and everything. What clutch setup are you running?

Original factory 4 stroke clutch. Mine was a 4 stroke briggs I/C flat twin.
