    Short video of a Hustler 980

    I've been asked how the Hustler swims and how well the 18 hp engine moves it. It does very well especially for a 23 year old original motor. I have not found it to be any less stable than any other AATV. I weight 300# so a couple of smaller guys would have no problem in it.

      Jerry, that is an amazing machine! It just moved right along and the engine never even sounded like it was working hard at all.

        I also was amazed how easily your Hustler 980 climbed that hill as it drove out of the water with only a 18 hp motor in it . I,ve always heard that the 980 model Hustler was geared lower than the smaller 950 .
