Max speed for a 980 Bigfoot ???

So what is the max speed for a Huslter bigfoot, Its got a 18 h.p. briggs, also what will improve the top speed without losing bottom end

I don't have one but Don from this site does. I don't think they're set up to go much faster than about 20mph. From what I can gather, they can pull a tractor-trailer at that speed too.

I get around 20-22 in mine. I've got 26" tires on it.

They are geared pretty low...most people say low 20's to mid 20's. More speed without losing bottom end would require more horsepower. 6x6World member Meinfeld has crazy horsepower....I think he hits 40+mph???

How much ground clearance does your 980 Hustler have with 26 inch tires ?

It is geared low at the axles, you could swap out the sprockets from a 950 and get more speed.
