Axle upgrade

Morning. Looking at axle upgrades for my Hustlers (unknown models, guessing 900 series standard body). Found one thread discussing the possibility if using 1.25 inch Argo axles, but no threads where someone actually has used them. Are they a no go?

doubt they will work in a Hustler due to length. the inner bearings are WAY INBOARD as compared to an argo. the wheel flanges would barely be outside the body

I don't have any knowledge but for what it's worth the new Argo forged axles designed for the offset rims are about 2 1/2 inches longer than the old ones. good luck

Thanks for the replies. Guess I will have to keep watch for Argo parts on Craigslist to measure up.
