heres the front bumper progress ,Im kinda worried about the weight ,but I wanted a good winch bumper....its a crappy pic but you get the idea...what do ya think?

Looks like your ready to remove small trees with the front of your Hustler. Really, I think it looks good, and since you're not racing the Hustler, I doubt you'll notice it. (Besides, weight up front helps with steep climbs) And if it's mounted half as seriously as it looks like it's made, you may be able to winch out a small Tank

Here is a winch guard and angle iron bumper, that wraps around the top of the tub of my friends Hustler 950. ( Gregg ) He says it works really well too. While he was driving his Hustler , he turned around to look at some thing behind him , and then turned back around as his Hustler slammed into a six inch tree --> head on. This brought him to an abrupt halt ! No damage though was done to the winch guard , or the wrap around bumper. He has the winch supported to a flat plate inside of the tube ,and then square tubing extends to the bottom front of his frame , reinforcing it.

does greggs still float ok with the extra weight up front? see , I drive a bobcat for a living so I try to make my toys and strong as that

Yes, it still does float good , because this modification did not add that much to the total weight of the machine.
