  • Model 900 I think. Many questions to come.

    Hi guys,

Just picked up a Huslter that has been sitting for 18 years in a barn in upstate NY. It belongs to us but we just never bothered with it after a couple of run-ins with some trees which caused a fuel leak. I have pictures on a website http://www.hotdogmary.com (long story about the name).

I'll keep you posted on the engine, etc. as soon as we strip it down. I'll probably need all the help you guys can offer over the next few months so thanks in advance.

      kgrant,

In the front seat next to the brake hande there's another lever that is attached to the T-20. Is that a Reverse Gear?

        Nice machine...I am a 2-stroke fan since driving 6x6world member Sandcassle's Hustler.

If your machine is like his, you could have a factory split-shifter...which is very cool, except that they are hard to shift and the cables are expensive. Also, you may need to get some late model shift pin hold downs....Sandcassle's kept popping out of gear.

Anyways...get with Sandcassle, he has recently been dealing with all those issues.
        Hammers should have warning labels.

That one looks just like mine. I have had it for two years and have done zip with it, heh. It has two shift cables, and from what I understand you can shift each side independently.
