    Hello,
I am new here and new to the 6x6 fun. I just purchased a Hustler. Not sure what year, model or anything else about it. All I know is I saw it and just had to have it. Its beeb sitting outside for a long time. It had a 18hp Kohler motor that was shot. I am having a small engine shop install a 20hp Kohler v-twin. Then I will attack the task of cables, chains and etc. Then on to body and seats. Can anyone tell me of any sources out there to find new, NOS, and used parts just in case I need them. Thanks in advance for any help I receive. I have already found a ton of helpful info. I hope as time goes on I can contribute as well.

    nos hustler parts

Hi bigdumpy. Welcome to the site. Alot of very helpful people here. As far as nos parts I believe Richard Clark of Route 6x6 bought everything that was out there. However alot of the parts in machines are generic. IE If you need bearings, just pop 1 out and get the numbers off it. Post some pics of your machine so we can check it out. Good luck with it. Hello

Hustler are great machines. If you do need a part that isn't so generic then I would suggest posting it on the wanted section. There is a lot of knowledgeable members here that I am sure can help you with getting parts or helping with any problem.

Hustlers made a few differant models with differant trans set ups as well as engine setups. If you post some pictures people can get an idea of what model you have.

        Good luck with it!

Hustlers are great machines and there are many members out there that have built theirs up.....just take a look in the photo gallery. Your best bet for parts at the best price for things such as cables, would be Recreatives. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511 They have parts for the T-20 transmission and some parts for the Max AATV will also fit the Hustler. If you are in need of high quality bearings at a low price call Buffalo Bearing. 716-874-1720. Tell them that Jeff with the 6 wheelers sent you and they'll take very good care of you. Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Ditto what Jeff said.....only thing I could add is that if you need axles, RI might be a good source as well. JPSwift figured out that a MaxIV axle with 5" extension is the same length as a Hustler axle, and weighs about the same. They are 1.25" and splined! Also, not too terribly expensive.

My suggestion would be that if you have 1 or 2 bad axles....replace the center axles, sprockets with a splined axle and then use stock front and rear. This would give you the ability to perfectly line up all sprockets.
            Hammers should have warning labels.
