Thanks for the info guys. Lowes is good but
i had palanned to go to an electrical supply for the nuts. Maybe they'll have a better quality product. The surplus center has my gears but I am trying a local supplky 1st. But thanks
Just bought a hustler, no idea which 1. yesterday the idler gear, left side by the trans left us. Appears to be a cheap 2 piece plate stuck on a bushing and rivited together. additionally several teeth were missing, and the nut plate that slides into the factory adjutment bar is bent and worn. Does anyone have any suggestions where these can be aquired? I was thinking either Grainger or Nortern Hydraulic(Handyman). Any other suggestions? Website, etc??
I am a newbie and having too much fun to let the thing sit and deteriote in the shed.
You can get the nut plates from Lowes in the electrical department, look for strut nuts. Try the Surplus center for the idler sprockets Burden Sales Surplus Center
