Hustler to the collection

Picked up a hustler yesterday to add to my collectionNot sure what model it is,It don't have the vents on the side,It has an 18 hp opposed briggs and stratton engine.I was told it's an 80 something model,Also got another tub and top with the side vents if anyone is interested in it.I will post pictures soon.

Nice find! If it has the flat twin Briggs in it with the 21" tires (and it isn't the taller tub with the 26" tires) it is a Hustler 950. The flat twin Briggs was the engine for around 1982 and newer Hustler models.

And by the way, I'd be interested in the top.

It has 21inch tires and a flat twin briggs,front and rear bumpers and the rack on the front.I was thinking it was the 950 but not sure.It has new chains and bearings and the trans was rebuilt last year.I don't think $800 was a bad deal.I put my 22 runamucks on it today and road it a little,A little different than the max.After i got familiar with the steering,It is a cool machine.I will try to post some pictures of the hustler and the top soon.
