Hustler belt

I need a belt for my hustler,The belt on it has no numbers on it.It is a 950 with a 18hp opposed briggs,Anyone know what belt number it takes.The belt on it has a lot of slack and i don't see any way to tighten it.Thanks for any help.

If you search ebay item number 370099417010 you'll find one, but it isn't that cheap.

I looked through all of the postings about a belt number for a Hustler, and did not see one listed at all. I also called Buffalo bearings and talked to a salesman named Chris ( he said he knew you ) and asked him if he knew the last belt that you had ordered for your Hustler :



His reponse : Yes, I know Jpswift, the guy that has all of the 6-wheelers, but I also have over 100 customers that call here each day, so I don,t remember that particular belt number that Jpswift ordered ." If you can call Jpswift , and ask him about when he ordered that belt, I,ll try to go back two months of receipts , and look for it.

I don't have the belt anymore since I sold it and the engine when I upgraded to the Vanguard. 6X6World member jpmustblaze has it now and might be able to give you a part number. Sorry I can't be of any more assistance.
