    need help removing transmission

    I bought a junker for the engine cover and discovered that the tranny may be O K, it appears to be a 950 with the 2 cycle engine. I have the belt off, the linkage disconected and all nuts/bolts near it off, excpt for the 4 on the lower/rear (2 on each side) the nuts are off but no movement allowed. Are these bolts through bolts?

    10-22, I got it done.

    the rear most bolts on the bottom of the tranny has an extra bolt with a strap over the two, very effective design, especially if the idea was to complicate a fat old man's life, LOL

      Glad you got it loose.
      Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
