  • Yet another Hustler project

Hi Guy's&Gals, I just picked up my first AATV. It is a hustler of some kind. I will try and post picks as soon as I can. But meanwhile here is a description. IT has 6 wheels.(LOL) Ok seriously it has a green poly body and 21/11.00-8 tires. The motor and torque converter are missing but the guy I got it from said he thought it came out with a Kohler motor. He threw in a B&S 16 horse V twin I hope this will work in the engine compartment. I will be needing a converter/clutch to match the pully on the tranny. It is a T-20. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am in N.E.Oklahoma so if anyone is close that has 1 I could look at might help. Thanks in advance . Dennis (RG22lr).

    BTW Very nice web site.

Hi Dennis and welcome to the site! I'm currently working on assembling a Hustler myself. I am by far an expert but am learning all kinds of things during this process. I'll keep an eye out for the pic's,meanwhile there are a few of mine in my gallery. You have come to the right place for advice, the members of this site are amazing to say the least.Joe.

Welcome Dennis! I'm also working a Hustler along with a Max. Is that Briggs V-twin mounted in the Hustler, if so how much clearance does it have with the back seat? The reason I ask, is that a friend of mine has a Kholer V-twin in his and it doesn't allow the back seat to work. Just wondering if the Briggs is the way to go for him?

6x6World member Boncrshr has a Hustler 950 and he was able to fit a Honda 20HP V-twin in there, along with 25x13x9 Super Swamper Vampires. Check it out here:
