  • Hustler wireing diagram?

Anyone know where I can find a wireing diagram for a Hustler? Not sure of the year, plastic tub 16 h/p Koler engine with 8'' tires.

    Thanks Justan

It's really simple to wire it up, I have the same one(I think) as you. I didn't use a wiring harness, just wired it up myself. There should be 2 wires coming from the engine.(if yours is the 16 hp K341 model) one from the coil, and one from the regulator. You should be able to determine which is which by the guage of the wire, as they should be 16 and 10 gauge, respectively. The larger wire is the charge wire from the alternator. This wire should go through your ammeter if you have one, and then to the battery side of your solenoid. The smaller wire should go to the 'IGN' post on your keyswitch. From your keyswitch: 'Batt' post goes to the battery side of the solenoid, just like the charge wire. 'ST' post should go to the small post on top of the solenoid. There should be a large cable going from the other side of the solenoid to the post on the starter.
Hope this helps, and if it doesn't I can draw and scan a more detailed diagram for you.

I drew up a diagram, and since it's fairly generic, posted it here:http://www.6x6world.com/forums/gener...g-diagram.html

I'll just put it up here too.
