Hi Jason, Welcome to the forums. Can you tell us which parts exactly are you having problems with and what trouble are you having with them? You have the bolts out of the sleeves? Bearing flanges? Allen screws out of locking collars? We'll be glad to help but we need a little more info.DESTRUCTION is just a couple of vowels down the street from DISTRACTION

Sorry wouldn't clear before. I have the sprocket loose from the axles but they are froze to the inner and outer bearing. I was thinking about cutting the all the way out so i can get the sub frame out. i am replacing everything. i have pb blasted, sledgehammered, and prayed to God but they want budge. My other hustler I had 10 years ago wasn't in this bad of shape but this one has set in water for a while. I hope I can salvage the sub frame if not I will have a brand new machine. I am waiting on Richard to give me a price on a set of axles. Anyway I welcome all advice. I am not new to the 6x6 world just a little behind. Thanks. Jason

Have you tried applying some heat on the bearings with a torch? That may expand them enough to break free from the axles. If not, you can pour some cold water on the bearings when they are red hot and sometimes that will break them free. Or, you can always just cut the bearings themselves and save the axles. Cut almost all the way through the inner race and then use a hammer and chisel to finish the job so that you don't score the axle.
Another thing you can try is using a porta power to push the axle out from the inside. Just be careful not to bend your frame if it takes a lot of pressure.
If you are set on replacing the axles then cut away and save yourself some time. Another option that may be cheaper than buying axles would be to have a local machine shop make you some and possibly even reuse your existing hubs. Sometimes you can find some guys that will do work like that pretty reasonably since there isn't a whole lot of machine time involved.

Thanks guys for all the help. I got 4 of the 6 axles out. 2 of the axles have the sprockets welded to them from the previous owner. IDIOT. I'm trying to salvage them but looks like im gonna have to cut them out with a torch and make some new ones. PB blaster is a great help for anyone having troubles. A good punch to punch the axle bolts through. I had to cut the inner collars off with my grinder and the axles popped right out. I scarred a couple up but hopefully not to much. Anyway thanks for all the help. Almost got the sub frame out and I can start rebuilding. Anyone suggest a good power plant for my machine. My 16hp kohler is shot. I got a cheap duromax 16hp im gonna piddle with until I decide what im gonna put in. Thanks for everything. This site rocks. Jason
