Thanks Fred (and JP....) I actually just ripped the primary apart, cleaned it up well and replaced the rollers and cam spider with stuff that was in better shape. I put new cam sliders on the secondary and threw a red spring in it for kicks, after cleaning it up a lot as well. A green spring would've been just fine but as it turns out, I had a very tired two stroke spring in there since day one. It's just got a lot more "pull" to it now. The Kubota doesn't "thump" like a V-twin (more of a steady tractor-like pull), but I adore the little things. Check out the second video... I get a little more enthusiastic with it.

OHHHH, YEAHHHHH!! Man Mike, it looks like you have the 980 dailed dead on to
'perfection". Your going to have me start looking for a kubota! It rocks Mike! . I mean it totally Rocks!

Well it looks like there is only one more thing that you can do to the 980!?!?!? Put a little
'Spline" in your "Swine"!!!!!! i have bout a month before i place my order! The way I see it, when we do this, we will be among the "Most Elite" in the Alumni!!!! lol!!! Looks Like Don has beat us to it,, we just have to join him!!!!
