The Blackbird vs The Warthog. Now that would be so cool. Eventually you're going to have to open it up somewhere besides Don's NO SPEED LIMIT driveway. This is getting good.

I don't think I'm ready to race for Pinks with Mark. My girl has a few pounds on the Blackbird in the tune of 300 or so . I think the Blackbird with it's light weight and liquid cooled engine would leave us eating his Vapor trail. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun though

Have faith. You probably don't have as many RPM, but as long as he doesn't find a runway, a little 503 should be able to keep up......

If he gets enough room to use his pipe, all bets are off....

Well, i know of a little place called Ashtabula that we can settle this once and for all.You really need to try and get to Ash this year Micmac. It would be a blast to have you there.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Mark was kind enough to let me take the Blackbird for a few passes down the dragstrip at Busco a couple years ago. I've never found a machine that I wouldn't hold at WOT till the red line, but the Blackbird had a really high pucker factor I hope the Warthog is equally frightening. One day I need to get over my hatred of 2 strokes and build something sick. I sure do like how they can put you back in the seat!

There are at least , what, 8 turns on the track at Ash ?

Keep your machine right side up (Right, Hydromike?) & anything is possible. With Jersey, it just won't be easy.

Therein lies the key, dear Bridget! I don't know why both GeoJem and I both seem to have so much trouble with that. I make no promises for this year. Heck, I'll probably crash once or twice.

Maybe it has something to do with those awesome roll cages. You feel like you have to use them once in a while to see if you really DID do a good job. From what I've seen, you do.

I have had my quota of crashes. I think i'm good for a while.

BTW the Blackbird has some new clutch parts installed.

Nahhh, that's not it. I have an official Shoestring Hardtale cage and I've always managed to stay belly-down.

George your ATTEX is at least 3 feet wider than Mikes and does not bounce like silly putty. Mike is hard to catch when he is in the groove, You just have to wait till a tire falls off or something.
