Hello to every one, I just bought a hustler 6X6 for 100 dollars and I domt know how to find out stuff about it, like what year it is and for sure about the engine I know its a kolher and I think it is a 440 so is that a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke, can some body give me alittle hint, and how to find out what tranny does it got.

First of all, for $100 you got a great deal. A 440cc Kohler twin would be a two stroke. If it has that engine I'm pretty sure that it is probably earlier than a 1979 because Hustler switched to Kohler single cylinder 16HP 4 strokes. The best way that we can all help you out would be if you posted up pictures of it. You'll have a nice machine if you spend some time and do a quality restoration on it."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

Your new ride is likely running the Borg Warner T-20 transmission. Bulletproof. The 440 Kohler should treat you well, as well. Definitely post pictures. We're all picture junkies...
