That was some REALLY bad mud for sure ! I,ve been in mud before with my Max IV , but never pudding mud like that ! Just as soon as you make a little forward momentum , and you think your amphib is going to keep moving forward , because now have traction , does,nt work in this senario . You just have to keep rocking back and forth from every angle you can , hoping sooner or later you,ll find the traction you need , and drive out . If you are not in fairly decent shape , this will have you totally exhausted . That was the worse mud I,ve ever took my Max IV through since I,ve owned it .

River run park is one of the top rated atv parks in the US . They charge only $15 day , per person with an atv ( amphibs the same price ) 15 minute high pressure washers for only a $1.00 . They also have free showers too. RV hook ups , food vendor . If you get yourself stuck really bad ,,the owner will come out with his tractor , and pull you out . Thats if you are stuck near one of the main access trails . We are planning a big ride there this November 2008 .

Classic case of wrong tire for water ,probably wouldnt of helped even with all tires driving.But cool video anyway, Nice 980.

I was looking on Utube for some new Hustler video,s and found this one. As I was watching it I said " hey,,thats the 980 Bigfoot boncrshr bought for me out side of Houstin, Tx. two months ago." The Kenda Bear Claw tires are still on it ,and I know they don,t swim , so I,ll be changing them this summer to some swamper , Vampire , ASX tires, that jpswift has on his Hustler Bigfoot 980.

Those Kenda's did good in the mud....they might swim a little with less throttle???

I really like the back seat design on that 980.

This is the second Hustler , 980 Bigfoot that I bought in Arkansas , about four months ago. The first Hustler 980 I bought , I had boncrshr pick it up for me, from a man just outside of Houstin, Tx.This video was taken right before I backed it off the trailor , and then drove it into my garage. Look closely and you will see the split shifter handle and bracket , under the seat on the passenger side.

They make fine mud machines if they are set up with the right kind of tires , and if you do the right modifications on them , they are very reliable too. I really like the sleek shape of the Hustler Bigfoot upper tub.

Hoarding Them

Hey Dave, now I know why I can't find one, you got them all. This is the best detail video I've seen of a 980 Bigfoot. Now I know why there in demand. Very nice!
