The sprockets that came off my Hustler need to be repaired. The bolt holes are wore out. Richards Relic has a cup washer repair kit for this problem but he seems to be a little hign on pricing $4 a piece! Any ideas?

Get a piece of round solid steel stock roughly 3/4 diameter. Have a machine shop gun drill it (just under 3/8). then cut into 1/4" slices. bolt them in place then weld to the sprocket tube. they aren't cupped, but that leaves a little gap for weld to penetrate. Also, on the hustler you will probably need to grind a flat on one side of them as some positions have the hole VERY close to the sprocketA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
