Do they make a gas cap with a gauge in it that will fit the hustler factory tank?

I'm not sure what the hustler gas cap looks like but if you measure the depth of the tank with the cap off you could use something like this.

I also needed a gas cap for my hustler. I went and got the one on ebay. I should have asked how it screwed on to the tank opening. The artic cap screws on with internal threads inside it's cap. The hustler attaches differently. Oh well. maybe I can make a working one out of the two.

I dug thru some of my old Harley parts and found a petcock valve from a sportster so I don't need a gauge ...I have reserve.

              Bazoo guy,

That is a good find....It would almost work in a stock hustler tank......But the opening on my neck where the tabs clip in into the tank is 2 inches and the tank is 9 inches deep from the top of the cap.........it is close though ...real close.

Bazoo, thats a good idea! I'll have to dig through my parts and see if I have one. But 1st Im gonna see if I can modify one out of the two here.

My original has the gauge. But the clear plastic cover was discolored and cracked. Leaking gas on bumps. I like bazoo's idea with the sportster petcock. Ill let you know what I come up with.

Bazoo, the sportster petcocks Im seeing have a nut that screws on to a male thread protruding from the gas tank. My hustlers tank has a female threaded opening. Guessing on your part, what year you think that sportster petcock is off of?

I managed to modify the original fuel cap. Using the bezel and indicator face plate from the snowmobile one. Took a little doing.
