When you say twin, do you mean flat twin briggs maybe or some twin 2-stroke. The 900's were poly and came with a 2-stroke. Their frames were weaker than the 950 which came with a 4-stroke flat twin briggs. There were other models too that were poly, such as the 980 which had a much deeper tub. The more you tell us the better JPswift will be able to identify it. He is our resident hustler model expert.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

JP checking in!
Drew provided a lot of useful information on this, so read his post carefully too. I see that you mentioned shifter cable. The early Hustlers had shifter cables and twin (since it's an early model) must be a Kohler 2 stroke twin cylinder 440cc. Is it a HDPE (poly) body or fiberglass? Pics will help a lot."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

When desperate sellers play these games (especially with junk that they think is worth gold) I just ignore them and move onto the next one. It's just like used car dealers, and they must think people are as dumb as they are. I'm so sick of hearing, "it's rare", "I've got so many calls on this thing so you better hurry up and make an offer", "this thing is will sell fast", "all it needs is this, this, this and this, and it'll be worth double what I'm asking", and of course the line saying, "these things new sell for $10,000+" and "I just saw one on ebay or Craigslist go for *insert rediculous price*"
Those are all bullsh!t lines and if the machine is really good, it should sell itself. Just wait for another machine and let this guy sit on this one and let him think it's worth its weight in gold. It'll be one of those machines that we see listed, and relisted, and relisted again and again."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"
