Well its been almost two months or so since Cbass and I first picked up my 980 Hustler from Ark. Needless to say, there were many battles that the Hustler won but I won the war, with the help of you all on 6x6, mostly my brother Cbass, JP and Highrollinmopars. You guys rock. Here are some current pics http://www.6x6world.com/gallery/g971...0-rebuild.htmlIMG]
the footage will be uploaded soon.

Fred, very nice job. I would wrap those pipes to help keep the temp down in the engine compartment also. Hope it is coming to Busco. I knew when i saw you driving JP's Hustler at the last event you were hooked. Great job again.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Nice work, Fred! I'm glad I could help you out. As Lewis said, you might want to get some fiberglass header wrap and wrap each pipe up to keep the temp down under the hood. I did it on my BIGFOOT and it worked wonders. Looking forward to seeing this beast in person!

Lewis, I didnt forget about you, Thank you for your advice before and as well now. I'll be wrapping the exhaust this weekend. Even though I happy with the outcome, there are just a few more things that I have in mind of doing, hopefully before Busco.

I look forward to seeing everyone at Busco!

JP, i'm actually going to try a body band to weld my cage to. I'm also thinking of joining the front and rear bumpers together and then bolt them to the band, but with my schedule the way it is, trying to get it finished before busco, i think it might have to be one or the other.
