    Hustler springer update

Here are a few pics of the progress so far. Still need to fit up the axle shafts, the steering components, brakes, and controls. But most of the hard stuff is done.

Very, very nice work! I'm very impressed, and I have to give you props for a job well done. Do you think you might be able to bring it to a ride this summer so we can check it out? Again, very well done!

That looks really good. Do you have a photo of inside the tub? I was curious to see what you are bolting the angle iron to on the inside? Did you tie all A-arm brackets together with a brace or inner plate?

          Keep up the good work.

Looks like one bad machine. Can't wait to see it finalized!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Man, that is a nice looking machine!!! Great work!! If I could, I would like to throw a name out there for consideration,,, "T-H-P", THE HUSTLER PROWLER!!!!! The first thing that I thought of when I saw it. Ok,, maybe its a lame name, that deserves a better title!! I can just see it prowling around in the mud, and hills, with its super low center of gravity, and wide footprint, the name is almost deserving for it!?!?! I can imagine that you could ride across some pretty steep grades with your creation!!! I can wait to see the finished result, and possibly see it in person!

The a-arm brackets are bolted thru the frame on the bottom, and I welded in cross braces to attach the top of the brackets. I still need to make the cross brace for the front set of a-arms, but I needed to see where the tub was going to be, and to make room for my feet inside the tub.

How close are you to having the engine and drive shaft components test fitted with some pics? Getting rid of the chains and sprockets is a great idea.
