That Hustler is one cool rig!!! I think it is safe to say that you'll be the only one in your neighborhood that has one. It looks great!

            Ygmir,

That's a neat hustler I'm sure with a little work you can restore it to excellent shape. I like that alternator mod. I've never seen the belt go around the outer mesh cover like that. Is that something that Kohler sells?

                I like the mod, too.....
It came that way, and, I didn't ask, but, think the guy I got it from did it. It's a B&S engine.........

                  BTW:
as I come up with questions, should I just keep with this link, or, start a thread related to said question?

                  For starters:
How do I repair the HDPE body?
It has some random holes, cracks, etc.
NOthing to big, but, I'd like it to hold (or exclude) water.

                  Thanks,
                  Henry

Henry, maybe these links might help.

A plastic welder and some extra pieces of white HDPE along with some of that stuff called "Goop" in the marine variety might work out for you. Good luck with it.

As far as the threads, you can do either. If you have some more pictures, updates to, or stories about your newly acquired (cool) Hustler, then just post back in this thread. If you have specific questions like that body repair question, you can start a new thread. That question really applies to every 6 wheeler not just Hustlers so you can post it in general 6x6. Just use your best judgement based upon the descriptions of the forums.

Just trying to keep things organized but whatever you do, never worry about where to post. If you don't know just put it where you think it fits best and if I move it, it's just for organization.

Finally, don't forget about the search function up to the top right. A lot of questions may have already been answered.

                        Have fun!

If it's not to crass, I'm wondering how I did on price for my Hustler?
                          I paid 2500 bucks.........
It's now immaterial, since, I got it, but, was just curious.....
If the question is out of line, I appologize......

                          thanks,

Henry, if it runs and drives, has good tires, good engine and transmission, and since it is so rare I think you did pretty well.

I have my own hoist at home.........that's it.
the P.O. installed a lifting hook, so, it works nice........he loaded it with a crane.....
                                I'll make some ramps.
But, that hoist is so nice for stuff like that......
