Well let me tell you a story 6x6 world. Me and the family were going to take a ride. I had my Max II and Mel's Max IV stuffed into my 6x14 enclosed trailer. It was a tight fit and I was only able to do this by putting my Max II in first and up on my car ramps that I use to do oil changes. Well our plans fell though but I left my Max II load and sitting on the ramps front end up. She set like that about a week or so until someone came by to take a look at Mel's Max II (which was sold the next day) so while he was here I couldnt help but show off my ride. I went to start her up and white smoke everywhere. Oil was misting out the back end and around the lower back end of the engine so I thought maybe a line to my newly installed oil cooler had busted. I checked them both out, nothing. I left it runing to see if it would clear up and it didnt but it died on me, I went to start it up again and nothing, so of course I got a lil worried. I started off checking the fuel line then the fuel tank. It was bone dry, which I couldnt believe because I had just filled it up before I loaded it in the trailer. So I pushed it out the trailer and into the garage to get a better look. I lifted the top up and saw what I thought to be water in the tub. Needless to say I was glad that I wasn't smoking at the time because my tank had ran dry by filling the engine with fuel and then running into the tub. I drained the tub first and it too two oil drain pans to get it all out. then I drained the engine which took a whole drain pan by itself. Lesson learn, dont leave the front end of your max II higher than the rear without using your fuel shut off value to prevent fuel from draining into your engine.
