  • Best palce to get parts?

i just got tracks for a 2001 Max IV and need the 5' spacers as well as new attachment clamps (the tracks are from a 1997 Max IV and are rusted out and damaged). Should i order these from the factory, or is there somewhere else? I am a brand new 6x6 owner and would like any advice/etc..

Sounds like you need to call the factory or post a wanted ad on here. just don't use Richards relics or route6x6. Their parts are overpriced and inferior in quality.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

That's right. NEVER deal with Richard Clark/Route6x6. His prices are rediculous, his parts are very poor, inferior quality, his shipping and "handling" charges are rediculous too. And on top of that his customer service is horrible. He burned MANY, MANY people in the 6x6 hobby. Try Recreatives Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511 for factory parts, or put a wanted ad here on the site.

Seems i saw belt lacers at older hardware store. Tool bit for lacing should be around them. I,ll be wanting them too down the road.(factory rubber tracks).

They are the ones that come in pairs and work really good on the 1 5/8 bars on the Max. I purchased mine on Ebay.

I am new to the aatv world, and it just about ended 2 weeks after it began. I searched the internet for parts and richards relics was all that came up, after dealing with him about parts i gave up. I will never deal with this guy, and will only go through the manufacturer since i am now in contact with the max makers life is better.

Absolutely! Richard Clark has burned many people and he's more interested in making a huge profit rather than helping people get their machines up and running. He's in it for the money, not to promote the sport. Sorry to hear about your bad luck with him, but you're one of the MANY, MANY people that have experienced this. That's exactly why I tell everyone, NEVER deal with Richard Clark/Route6x6.
