Can you elaborate on what is actually not working? Are the lights and winch working, is the starter not working, do you have any power anywhere, etc?

Sure sorry lights work seems to be draw on the motor meaning the idle a tad ruff, the winch works but real slow and only when running ,starter wont turn battery dead. thanks for the reply.....

Were things working OK before your work? disconnect the rear light and see if things improve if not disconnect the winch and check again. are you positive the battery is hooked up right and you didnt reverse the polarity? It sounds like your running off the power stored in the battery and its close to dead. Low batt voltage = rough running, dim lights, starter wont work, winch is slow.
Do you have a volt meter? Your battery should read 13.6 to 14.2 volts with the motor running if the charging sys is working. 11.8 and your motor is about to quit.

Have you charged the battery back up at all? Put a full charge on it and then see how it behaves. The voltage regulator is very minimal on these small engines as they are mainly meant to charge the battery when the RPM is high. Without driving the machine a lot and testing the lights, winch, etc, it is easy to drain the battery.
