    Hey Pony...

It shouldn't make too much of a difference, but put it in neutral anyway so the tires are easier to spin as you check chain tension.

Just get the wheels off the ground. Neutral or in gear won't make a difference.

Hey Pony Soldier, I forgot to mention, when I'm running new chains and adjusting them for the first time I will put a jack under the one side of the machine so that only 3 wheels on the one side are off the ground. You can then pop your master link on the chains, work the chain adjusters to get any extra slack out and then repeat the process with the other side, or if you have all 6 off the ground you would save some time with moving the jack around. Hope that helps you out.

          Got Er Done...........

Thanks Guys, Chains are adjusted, just need to take her out tomorrow for a test run. I'm sure it will be a big improvement. They were way out of wack. I have not really had much time to drive the MAX since I bought it the end of Jan. Never even rode in one, never drove one till I got her out of the trailer. It has been fun. Tomorrow the windshield should be here. (thanks Tom) again Thanks. Pony Soldier
