New to me Max II

Hello Brad here and finally got up to pick up a max II from Minnesota. Going to need some work. Just from visual needs new fuel lines including filter and primer bulb, throttle cable broke, choke cable(nob gone), oil change, trans fluid change, and carb work, drain old fuel and clean tank, add hour meter.

We didn't even try to start It but ramped it up into the pickup(checked for spark-good)My uncle owned it and has had it sitting for a couple of years. He told me 2 of the axles are newer and also 2 tires and rims. I also got the tires he replaced which are fine but the rims are Bent.

Any other suggestions? I think I am going to put a heated throttle cable in from RI. Would that also be the place to get the throttle cable and nob assembly?

Congratulations on the Max II. It looks like it is in decent shape overall. You can get the throttle cable and lever through RI or through any Max dealer. You may also want to start a new thread here in the Wanted forum as a member may have one they are looking to sell. Good luck with getting it running.

If you get any interest in selling the bent wheel/tire let me know... I have been searching for my missing 6th wheel and have about gave up hope... and my son doesn't like "Max" only having 5 wheels

Deere I've been told by members you can get the wheels off of mfgsupply.com under the trailer wheels tab. I've ordered alot from mfg supply and they have fast shipping. Can anyone verify on the wheels?

Deere-if I decide to let a tire go I will let you know. Right now I am still in the process of taking inventory of what I need to do and what parts I will need.
