  • Entry Step for Max IV

Anyone made a step to help get in the Max IV? Argo offers one and I wonder if it could be used on a max?

It could probably be used on a Max IV as long as there is enough space between the front two tires. Other than that, there would be two other concerns: Make sure there are no obstructions on the inside of the frame where it would be mounted. Then make sure that it will actually help you enter the Max. The front seat may be too far forward to benefit from the step that would be between the front two tires. The seat back is pretty much centered between the front two tires.

Here's a photo of the step for more details: Argo Part 848-05 STEP WELDMENT, ENTRY -HDI/AVG/HD

Here it is on an Argo:

I don't know about that entry step thing. It looks like it would get punished where its mounted. It also doesn't look to be that much lower than the tire, so why not just step on it? You could always carry a rubbermade step stool around. It requires no mods and you have a seat outside the machine if you need one.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Yep, I've made one and posted it under the pics section. My young boys always have trouble getting into my Max IV with their snow suits on. Works really well, the tires still come off, and honestly it's never been caught on anything or gathered up a bunch of mud or snow.
