Thats an idea I've been thinking about for years. I would place the radiator high so that it sticks out of the body enough to cool down. A slim line cooling fan with thermostat is all you need.
My idea was to use a Honda 425cc liquid cooled, but haven't decided to go with that or a little Kubota diesel liquid cooled.

Was that a sled engine 2 stroke out of that wacky sled they built back in the eighty,s?,they were a smooth running little engine, check the wreckers any rad with a electric fan out of a small import would do,or the rads they put on the early SRX Yamaha snowmobiles with a electric fan would be fine, set the rad up in a fashion that it has direct access to outside air,and reverse the fan air flow to blow out thru the rad this will serve two purposes it keeps the rad clear of debris and relives under hood temps, good luck with your project sounds like fun,jus not sure whats holding you back from a bigger water eater.LOL Cheers

I'd like to see a few pics of that machine.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
            Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
