Offset Max II sticks in Max IV?

Can this be done? If so do they bolt in? If not, can mine be easily bent?

I'm just toying with the idea. It's clumsy driving my IV offset with a passenger, and I hate to ask the wife to sit in the back, but I'm afraid the offset sticks would be clumsy both solo and with a passenger.

The sticks can be bent....easy, well, not without a torch.
Before modifying your sticks, I would suggest driving a MaxII with and without a passenger.

OR just buy your wife a machine of her own. Problem solved!

you don't gain much if you use the Max 2 laterals. I moved mine by making a new assembly and mounting them forward of the frame. I fabricated to bolt in. if you use 2 cross bars to like a hustler so 1 stick is forward you can mount the laterals in any position
