Max IV Tub

Does anyone know what a new max iv tub would cost new? Mine sat in storage for about 10 years and the body/tub have sagged and the tires have rub thru the fender wells, I was wondering if I could just replace tub and that would put things back where they should be.

You could also heat the body with an electric heat gun and use some boards to square it up, for penetrations take some sheet aluminum or steel and pop rivet and silicone in. Thats a cheap approach to it. JP's idea is good as well, but with the cost of a 2nd, then shipping, its sometimes good to work with what you have. That also opens the door to body mods such as raising the fender height.

maybe i will hang it from a tree by the roll cage and heat with heat gun, that sounds like a good idea. thanks for the replies

You may not need to use much of the heat gun if you can take advantage of a warm florida day in the sun.

should i just let it hang freely or just hang it till the tire get the correct clearance

I would hang it so you have more lift than you need. If that means tires are off the ground, so be it. Lift gained will reduce a bit when it is let down and the body relaxes.

the best way to eliminate the sag in the future is to support the roll bar or fenders by adding a cross brace welded to the seat backs that will support the fenders. there are a few photos on the site.
