  • Dented my Max!

Hey folks, well finally getting some snow out here & having quite a bit of fun trekking through the woods with the Max!.. 2 nights ago i had a steep incline to climb, the slope was pretty icy so the Max was kind of uneven with the traction.. I started veering sideways so i decided to back up a bit to re approach.. Soon as i let of the forward motion the Max started rolling backwards & I felt a thump.. Hit a stump or something which stopped me dead.. Then i reattempted the slope & made it.. Just cleaning up the max today & i noticed that whatever i hit in reverse dented the tub on the rear left.. Not enough to interfere with anything but a decent sized dent none the less!
I know have bulletproof the Max tub is so i must've hit that pretty hard..

My question is... do i leave it alone since it is not affecting the Max mechanically, or is there a method to remove the dent? Should i even attempt it? Doing so may weaken the plastic of the tub which would be extraordinarily BAD!.. Or has anyone else dented a Max & has an easy & safe fix for it?

Any input would be great guys!

    Thanks!

I would think that you could heat the tub with a heat gun and push it back out and let it cool. just my .02 worth

I agree. It should be a relatively easy fix. Then again, if its not hurting anything, it wouldn't be a top priority on the list of things to do I'm sure.

just pull it into a warm area or wait till spring the dent will probably pop out when warm. heating up the local area with the body cold may set the dent.
