  • Hustler Tracks on a Max II

Will tracks off of a hustler fit on an older max II?

Do you mean the plastic Tru Trax with the individual segments? If so, yes, they will, you just have to take some of the track segments out to fit the Max because of its shorter wheelbase.

Thanks JP. What would you pay for a used set? And I would need 5" spacers too right?

Happy to help. It's hard to say what I'd pay without seeing them or knowing the condition of them. You can use either 3.5" spacers that Recreatives sells or 5" spacers. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511

I'll say what he would pay for them in good condition. Less than $200. I know because he got the set for his little truck off me. You have to realize that he never pays a lot for anything and there is usually some bartering involved. I would say plastic tracks are and have been decreasing in value in the last several years. There is and always will be a demand for used tracks, but there are much better systems available on the used market today. Also, competition in the new track market has brought the price down a little bit on some more desirable systems. All that being said $500 is a fair price for everyone involved if the tracks are in good usable condition. If I wanted them, I would probably not be willing to pay more than $350, but I am a cheap sob.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Well put, Drew. The plastic tracks aren't really great for mud, but they're excellent in the powdery snow.
