  • Wiring extra lights

Got done about 10:00 last night wiring new lights on my MaxIV. I made a little mistake that made me work 3 times longer than I should. I had one two wires on the 3 way switched with each other. Not till I sat down took a break and looked at the switch did I figure it out. If anybody know of some really good light bars or lights let me know because I want to add more.

To many lights will drain your battery if the alternator wont keep up, Try to use LED lights. You will get more candle power per watt.

Yea, I was wondering that. I saw some LED lights that might work pretty good.

Sort of related, is there a way to put a bigger battery/alternator on these things? I've thought about putting a couple of big ones on the work buggies but don't want to kill the electrical system.

IanPNG check this thread out. Look at my last post, I put a pic of the alternator I installed on my old Max IV. I'm in the process of putting an alternator on my new Max IV and Max Buffalo.

Awesome. I'll be looking into that if I decide to go with more lights and/or a thumping sound system.

I'm mostly kidding about the stereo...

IanPNG feel free to ask me any questions you might have about an alternator install.
